Ah. The new website is nice, but for some reason iTunes thinks that it hasn’t downloaded any of the old podcasts, so it’s trying to download all of them again from Hucklebug.com

    second!

nice sock monkey. maybe your merchandise can include hucklebug sock monkeys.

also, even as I mentioned kate bush, I recognize people’s aversion to her. she’s what some people would call an acquired taste. I wouldn’t categorize her as a great singer-songwriter. I always considered her more of a performance artist than an actual singer. the reason I love her is that no one else does what she does and she doesn’t sound like anyone else, kind of like laurie anderson. however, tori amos is a mere pop singer—and a boring one at that— like a popular sarah mclachlan.

since you’re taking listener topics again, how about just listing off things that people say are “great” but which you don’t “get,” like R.E.M., which stennie doesn’t hate, but merely doesn’t “get.”

More RIPs: Barbaro, and Wim Wenders’ partner Solveig Dommartin (the circus performer in Wings Of Desire).

One more for Bet’s poo-ridden theory: Tim and/or Neil Finn.
