I’m with you all on this week’s lowlight. While I’m very glad to finally have weather- and soundproofed windows and doors in my condo, that was a check I was NOT thrilled with writing. But it’s nice and toasty in here now. I’d put up a picture, but they look just like the ones they replaced.

I’d also forgotten what a good movie Ghostbusters is. I think it still holds up pretty well, kind of like Raiders of the Lost Ark. Two movies that are just fun entertainment, and not “deep” or “important”.

So, what’s on your Christmas wishlists this year? And who’s the most difficult person you have to buy for this year?

Fetish Doll, Trilogy of Terror starring Karen Black. I saw that doll on display on a Universal Studios Tour way back in the 1970’s

    Albert Whitlock Rules!!!

Glad I could help brighten your week. And Nick and Don are still kicking!

What does it say that I knew all those Humdinger kazoo songs before you two? Especially the worst Stevie Wonder song on the face of the earth?

    Oops, back to lurk-mode,

I am familiar with that “Forever Young” song, I believe-it’s the one by the British band (I think) that’s very 1980s-ish?

Billy Mays… I want to BE Billy Mays.  I wish I still did the 5 Minute Show video podcast—I had a parody of him in mind that was brilliant.  He always yells.  I love that man…

    I still wish him dead.

Or at least his career on TV.

Sten, I guessed your Sunday Morning Movie after just hearing “Ray.”  I’m actually not a huge fan of that movie, though I do agree it’s funny as hell.  I just prefer earlier comedies of that ilk—like Caddyshack or Meatballs.

I totally got all of your kazoo songs except the last two!  WAHOO!

That kazoo is one sad-ass fucking kazoo.

Not that I don’t like the kazoo stuff, but how about adapting Stennie’s trivia blog for the HB?  Or maybe other, harder trivia.  Ask a question one week, give the answer next?

Bet, you have a work-only kazoo?

That’s What Friends are For is 1987. It was my class song. The school made us do it.

My guess for Bet’s class song:

Dust in the Wind – Kansas? That’s a guitar song. Or Life’s Been Good to me – Joe Walsh?

I hope it isn’t Dust in the Wind. That would be a depressing class song.

I think everyone’s graduation song should be “Welcome to the Working Week” by The Elv.

I think there is an Irish Harlem, or at least there was: Chicago’s South side.

Loved the kazoos. Thank you for picking it over Jenga!

It will be interesting to see if Stenn’s Thank You for Not Smoking present will arrive anywhere, ever.  I sent a new one today through Amazon.com. Congratulations on another week of not smoking!
