  1. Crystal says:

I’m vpn-ing it. I saw SOMERS TOWN and it was a charming, character based comedy. Thomas Turgoose and Piotr Jagiello are amazing actors. It doesn’t have the emotional heft of THIS IS ENGLAND, but it was an entertaining film to see on a rainy, gloomy day. I’ll have more to say later. Right now, I’m waiting for my entree: trout pecan-pumpkin seed crusted, roasted sweet potatoes with chorizo & bacon, green beans, jalapeƱo-mustard

I just finished my Salad:mixed greens, roasted beets, marinated tomatillos, toasted walnuts, goat cheese, oregano vinaigrette (on the side)

I may have the avocado flan for dessert.

Hope you gals are holding up!  No red bulls! They are awful for you. Spinach/mango smoothies are much better for you.

500 DAYS OF SUMMER is my next film. It’s at 7:00PMEST.

  2. Michelle says:

Spinach AND Mango – together? In one drink? Crystal, PLEASE.

Hey Bet, can you please pass over some of those great pills? Thanx.

  3. LilyG. says:

It’s a Mom thing. I do call him Nicholas. That’s what I named him.  Just everyone else calls him Nick.

I have Mango-coconut chilled soup here from my shopping expedition. Want some?

  4. Mike says:

I’m still catching up (on part 14 now—the Siskita episode!), but I’ll post the next quiz.  These are songs about……

    Records
    ———-
Where you keep your Rolling Stones records
And a friend of Sacha Distel (hint: Michelle should know this one)

    Seven hundred little records
    All rock, rhythm and jazz

So you play your albums and you smoke your pot
And you meet your girlfriend in the parking lot (looking at you, Stenns)

But I ain’t got no speakers
    Ain’t got no headphones
Ain’t got no records to play

Thinking that I should stop this jockeying and start that record store
Maybe I could settle down if you’d take me back once more

But just because a record has a groove
Don’t make it in the groove

  5. Michelle says:

Oh yes, I do know that one, Mikey. It’s “Where do you go to my lovely” by Peter Sarstedt

I’m not even trying the other ones, because they are supposed to be for Bet and Heidi to figure out, right? Right!

  6. Jennpup says:

Very jealous of the Wrist Strong bracelet Heidi! I missed the last few weeks of Colbert, but is the Pope sporting one of those yet?? I was hoping he’d send one to the Pope.
