Binge watching – I finished the Crown in the week it came out. I have to agree with Bet about the Apartheid episode. It was hard to get through. It didn’t seem to fit in. Mostly it pissed me off. I joined Amnesty International in 1985 and we wrote MANY an email to Thatcher and other world leaders telling them to fuck off and divest.
I’m finally watching Schitt’s Creek and loving it. I think I’m on Season 3. Netflix is being a bitch and asking me after every episode if I’m still watching me. I don’t need that kind of judgement.
But the Queen’s Gambit. I’ve been hearing everyone going nuts about it, and I want to know why. Isn’t it a show about chess? How is this riveting television?
