One Response to Hucklebug, Episode 582 – Eurotrash

  1. Kellie says:

Hey Ladies – sorry to not get that post from the music school copied. So this is what I was talking about:
As a result of findings by campus experts on aerosols and room ventilation, any woodwind, brass or voice activity (lessons, rehearsals, performance) needs to include a 15-minute break after every 30 minutes of playing. After that break, the instructor and student/ensemble can return to the room for another 30 minute of playing activity.
At this time, plans are still being explored regarding where students and faculty can congregate during those 15-minute breaks.

And I’m adding a new one:
Each student will be required to ensure safety for others when emptying condensation that occurs during playing their instrument(s). It is suggested that an easily transported, towel-lined container with a lid (tupperware-like), or something similar, be used in all locations where condensation needs to be released. The container must be cleaned daily.

I just laugh at the above – I sent E with a container with a towel. I’m sure this 19-year-old male will use it and wash it daily (wink-wink).

Classes start for him Monday – so I’ll report back πŸ™‚ All his classes are now online except for his lessons and band class – and I’m still waiting to hear how Chamber Music will work.

I forget – have you talked about the funny cardboard cutouts a the baseball games – I think they are a hoot. Our pandemic sport of choice in the early months – corn hole – it surprisingly held our interest and we’ve watch it multiple times πŸ™‚
