I was driving from LA to Vegas when I hit the snowstorm
I mentioned. It rained horribly all the way to Victorville (about 1:15 hrs east of LA) and that’s when the rain got thicker and just turned into ice and snow. It finally stopped shortly before Barstow. Then rained off and on until the Vegas stripe where it just poured again. Longest white knuckled drive I’ve done in a long time. Probably haven’t driven in a snowstorm in at least 25 yrs. I had to make sure I wasn’t staring at the huge snowflakes coming down verses the road. And Stennie, my cell phone was in it’s holder on the dashboard when I took that photo, so I was safe. I can control the phone from my Apple Watch on my wrist without taking my hands off the wheel. 🙂
My cats have odd behaviors too. Betty (the white one), she likes to open kitchen cabinets, so I do have earthquake locks on them. Angelina likes to lay next to the water bowl and just hang her head over the edge to drink water. So I have to keep the water level up near the top. Sigh….both are drama queens! Lol.
