RE: The Obama love postcard. I have a “P.S.” on my PostCrossing profile that says something akin to “No, I did not vote for you-know-who and yes, I am extremely worried about my country.” I get a fair amount of sympathetic comments on cards I/we receive from folks around the world. That particular postcard came from a woman in Connecticut so not a total shocker!

RE: Come From Away in NYC with Julie Reiber standing in as the pilot (and other roles). We didn’t know that night that she was the actress with Bellingham ties but trust me, she was excellent. I would fly on any plane she was piloting! She absolutely “sold” the confidence, leadership and humanity I want in a pilot to whom I am trusting my life. The show was excellent. If there had been a “second showing” that night, we would have turned right around and seen it again!

Looking forward to seeing Bad Omen – thanks for the recommendation. Trying to motivate myself to walk on the treadmill and watch! I got Captain Toad for my switch during a memorial day sale – it’s a pretty fun, puzzle type game.

Advice – I’m taking on a new job at work and someone is attacking me before I even start. What’s your advice for nice wording for a boilerplate email I can use over and over (most likely will need to) that says thank you for the suggestion/pointing out that problem/wanting to know about _____ but I won’t be addressing that with you?

    Welcome back!

We are looking forward to meeting some of the Hucklebug Nation in two weeks. Woo hoo, it is almost vacation time!

Have you all been watching the Women’s World Cup? Bet, you have made an excellent choice in who you would go gay for!

I don’t know who to cheer for in the next match! I am conflicted. I do wish it was the Final; at least both of my teams would have the satisfaction of making it that far.
