Haha, well, Daft Punk is a classic techno band that has been around since the 1990s so I don’t really think of them as “today’s music”. But if techno isn’t your cuppa, no worries. I just thought it was neat that they had Paul Williams in there and managed to mesh their own style with a seventies feel. Like I think I said before, that particular song has got an annoying opening, but it gets better. There are some songs on that album I can’t even listen to, while there are others I love. So, music albums haven’t changed much over the years! >_<

I always thought "cold feet" had to do with leaving someone at the altar. The "logic" as I understood it was that no one likes to sleep with someone with cold feet, so if you left someone at the altar, the theory was that you didn't want to deal with the other person's cold feet. Somehow that became the phrase "he/she got cold feet." I'm not saying that is where the phrase comes from, just that this is the only understanding I've got of it. My parents were never big on admitting that they didn't know things so they'd just tell me stuff that made sense to them even if they had no source material to point to. This was pre-Hucklbug so they couldn't just ask you guys to Google for them. πŸ˜‰

I know this is a late comment, but Stennie, you totally have a fantastic speaking voice for podcasting, radio, and telecommunication voice overs. Lots of voice over actors do their work from home with a simple closet recording studio, so if you ever think of doing it as a profession (or side job), it’s totally do-able. This is especially true since you’re working from home already! Anyway, I’ve always thought you have a great speaking voice, so this was a “no duh she’s good” moment from me.
