MAN it’s hard to be first around here…
I had a crappy Wednesday..I’d like to FUCK OFF Seattle traffic…I drove down mid-afternoon, took me over two hours, then another half hour to park at Seattle center to go to the Chihouly Museum at the base of the space needle..only to find out IT WAS CLOSED FOR A PRIVATE PARTY.
And that was the theme of the day..not the first bad thing, and not the last, but the apex of the day.
Anyway..the movie house I want to live in is a new one, it’s the one in Moonrise Kingdom..I don’t want the clothes or the life or the “job” but I definitely want the house. It’s magical….I hope you get to see the movie soon…
Hands on the monitor for all the folks in Colorado..I am keeping them in my prayers.

Just getting back into the swing of things from being on vacation. Haven’t listened to this week’s show yet, but I will this weekend. Listened to some back episodes on the long plane rides and long car drives. You two always crack me up!

That’s a GREAT idea about just taxing giant sodas! I think King Mike is stupid for banning the sale of >32oz sodas because, as Jon Stewart pointed out on the Daily Show, if people want a 64 oz drink, they can just buy 2 32 oz drinks and double-fist it. Hell, they could also just bring their own water bottle and empty 2 32oz drinks into it.
FRET NOT, your podcast is as interesting as ever, I just found myself in agreeance 😉 with most of what you guys talked about.

I forgot to mention: I’d want to live in the world of an anime series called “Eureka Seven”. The world of that series is a world permeated with these energy waves that allow you to surf through the sky. There’s some other stuff about interdimensional aliens attacking cities, but all I care about is surfing those energy waves in the sky, man!!
