I can’t believe that you treated all my comments as one! That is NOT an incentive to comment, ladies. I am not happy. In fact, I protest.

So this comment is for Siskita – I finally made a ring tone out of The Unicorns song, and so I hear you every time I get a phone call. Beautiful voice, and the song gives me a great big giggle every time. I think the Dildo of Texas might be my text notification.

And this comment is for Mr. Middlebrow – I agree about Buster Bluth, however, I don’t think he’s necessarily stupid, but he’s a mamma’s boy who has been over protected from reality, and is therefore, naive and stuck in his childhood.

Thanks so much for the RIP for Ecks. Zaphod is a bit more clingy to me, but aside from that, I think he’s OK. He whines just a tiny bit more than he used to, as well. About a month ago, I happened to sketch Ecks as he slept on my lap for my Draw Every Day project. I’m so glad I did. Check it out here: http://thepete.com/2012/03/05/draw-every-day-22612-ecks-my-older-cat-on-my-lap/ We still miss him and will for a while, I’m sure. :/

I will definitely take a photo of me waiting my the Hachiko statue. πŸ™‚

David Mitchell and Rob Webb are hilarious! But I’m glad you guys agree about Peep Show. Well, we agree to disagree on “That Mitchell and Webb Look”. Siskita and I can’t get enough of it. Sure, there are some sketches that fall flat, but I always laugh at *something* in every episode. Which is more than I can say for most comedy shows these days. My favorite sketch has to be the one where the Nazis begin to suspect that maybe they’re not the good guys in WWII. I will admit that the more recent episodes are weaker. I think they should take more time off between serieseseses. Also loved the bit about the atheist finding the “there is no god” message in watermelon seeds.

“The Trip” was originally a TV series. I watched the first couple episodes but it didn’t pull me in. Sounds like it’s better as a movie.

I love your ideas for an ideal movie theater. The Chinese Theater used to have speakers for their main screen in the bathrooms. My thought was to have a way for folks to listen to their movie with headphones, either via FM radio or Bluetooth. This way, you could go to the bathroom and not miss the movie and you would be less likely to be bothered by crinkling candy wrappers or annoying talky patrons. I don’t like Bet’s idea of the touchpad-ordering thing because of the bright light required to see the tablet’s display. Plus, the waiters would have to be invisible. I wish there was a way to shut off all electronics but only during the movie–I love tweeting while waiting for the movie to start–especially during the stupid trailers. But any devices should be forced to shut off during the film because any display screens are just too bright for a movie theater.

Sten, you don’t like the Egyptian Theater? I’m with you on Cinerama Dome and the Chinese, but I enjoy the Egyptian quite a bit, too. In my opinion the best seats there are in the crease–that’s where the floor seats just start to become the stadium seats.

That’s enough from me… thanks again for the RIP for Ecks.
